G'day all, welcome to Alice talks. I'm not a chatterbox, but I do love a good conversation. Musically speaking, I write songs that are somewhat biographical and speaks to a lot of issues that are near and dear to my heart; people caring about each other; and doing the best they can in life; sometimes under very trying circumstances.
Life experiences are the best teacher, and some of the people I've met in my life so far are not only acknowledged in my music, but they have also been a very positive influence in my life and others.
My interests are very broad, and I am not shy about speaking out, especially on issues that matter to me. I love spending time with friends and family. And time permitting, it's great meeting new friends, and chatting about music, sports (especially Cricket), business, politics, food, you name it!
Oh and I didn't mention I love to shop! But I must admit, I like living outside the norm. There is excitement in discovery; like shops (more shoes!) or products and services, that I never new existed. I tend to search for the new, because it interests me that we have some much variety; and it impresses me that there are so many good businesses out there with lots of goodies still yet to be discovered.
Cheers, happy days, and thanks for stopping by... please feel free to leave a note :)

I visited your site www.aliceashley.com - great music that you have created
Thank you anonymous! Happy to know you appreciate it.
Your CD reminds me of Motown. Did you set out to create this style or did it just come out this way?
My style of music wasn't intended to be like Motown...but each song was all about how I felt at the time. When the melodies came, it was so emotional, that the words just flowed. Sometimes the words came first.
